INDIA KNIT FAIR, AN INTERNATIONAL EVENT

          India Knit Fair an International event is being organized bi-annual i.e. two fairs in a year (Spring/Summer during April and Autumn/Winter/Mid-summer Collection during October)   The best of the International Brand Leaders, Chain Stores, Wholesalers and Importers have identified India Knit Fair as one of the major sources for their consumers’ requirements for end to end product and materials in Knitwear.  They reap a great success out of this fertile ground.   Indian Knitwear thro IKF is very well known and Knitwear from Tirupur  is now being sold to almost every country in the world. Thus the India Knit Fair has emerged as one of the most reputed International Trade Fairs.The India Knit Fair Association is jointly  set up by Apparel Export Promotion Council (Sponsored by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India) in co-ordination with the Tirupur Exporters’ Association to organize the Fairs.

         Language is not at all a barrier for the overseas buyers in maintaining business relationship with India, since India has removed communication bottlenecks for most of the Buyers hailing from different parts of the   world thro Internet/Website.

VISA

         Delegate desirous of coming into India is required to possess a valid passport of their country and a valid Indian Visa.There is no provision of 'Visa on Arrival' in India and no fee is charged for immigration facilities at the airports. Delegate should ensure that they are in possession of valid Indian Visa before they start their journey to India except nationals of Nepal and Bhutan who do not require visa to enter India.
         All visitors coming from overseas will require visa for India. It has to be obtained from the Indian mission abroad. One should posses a valid national passport. Visitors are generally required to make an oral identification of their baggage and declaration of foreign currency in their possession.
